(July 4, 2025) Do we need another song that geared to members of the steppers set or a soundtrack of the summer? That’s like asking if we need some feel good music that will liven up road trips or summertime cookouts. The answer to the question is 100 percent yes, and longtime SoulTracks artist Quentin Moore has supplied us a summer anthem with his latest, “Ride With You.”
“Ride With You” is a breezy steppers jam where Moore transports listeners to the place we all want to be on these long summer days – riding in a car with that special someone….destination unknown.
The tune features Moore’s emotive baritone and displays his skill as a multi-instrumentalist. Moore plays drums, bass and rhythm guitar, organ and percussion on the track. He’s joined by Emsy Robinson on guitar, saxophonists Ben Bohorquez and Vanell Andrews with string arrangements handled by Olajide Paris.
“Ride With You” dropped on June 24, just in time for the first full week of summer. You can check out the video that features Moore and his band providing the music for line dancing at a cookout here.
