April 14, 2025 – CrazySexyCool – The Musical celebrates the most successful female group of all time. It tells the story of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, better known as TLC, the Grammy® Award-winning trio that shaped the sound of the ‘90s and redefined what it meant to be women in the music industry. Bill Diggins’ Diggit Theatrical Group is producing the new musical alongside Tony Award-nominated producer Stephen Gabriel who is serving as Executive Producer.
The trio stormed the ‘90s music scene, not only topping the charts—but creating the look, sound, and soul of a generation. Now visionary writer and director, Kwame Kwei-Armah (One Love: The Bob Marley Musical) brings TLC’s (mostly true) story of unshakable sisterhood to the stage, featuring a powerhouse cast, high-octane choreography by Chloe O. CrazySexyCool – The Musical makes its world premiere at Arena Stage in Washington, DC in June 2026 for 8 weeks as part of their 75th Anniversary Season.
