Eugenie Jones turned some heads with her 2013 jazz/soul debut album Black Lace Blue Tears, and the singer-songwriter is back for more, with her sophomore album, Come Out Swingin’.
The album is a combination of the old and new, featuring a soulful rendition of James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and eight original tunes.
“Sweet Summer Love” is a great, jazzy Summer tune that gives a special vibe. Eugenie tells us, “This slow, sexy swing tune is filled with images of long hot summer days, front porch swings, ice cold drinks, and the intensity of red-hot summer love.”
