The Freedom Affair vocalist Paula Saunders says that “Get My Share” is a “raw and honest look at life from the black woman’s perspective. The Freedom Threedom – the band’s vocal trio – wrote it, and it’s a short story about clawing your way to your rightful place in spite of well-known and intentionally placed obstacles.”
