(September 6, 2022) London-based singer Ania Garvey has gathered a substantial following over the past few years for her combination of soulful vocals and dance grooves like those that dominated the airwaves in the 80s.
For her latest single, Ania teams with The Afrunk Band and composer Soulhill a.k.a. Raise Da Roof for “Just A Little Love,” a cut that aims directly for the dancehall, with a steady beat and funky rhythms, combined with an old school rap verse in the middle. And in front of it all is Ania’s rich voice, which goes to unusually high places throughout the song, showing a side of her that we hadn’t heard before.
