(June 9, 2022) For the past couple of years, we’ve been closely tracking London-based singer Ania Garvey. Ania has issued a series of singles that have combined her rich vocals with songs that recalled the dance grooves of the late 70s and early 80s.
For her newest release, Ania provides two compelling versions – one with a funk groove courtesy of John Carey, and the other with the soulful house vibe – of the new song “Follow Me,” a preview of her upcoming album of the same name. Wrapped in Ania’s deep tones, “Follow Me,” which she wrote, has the feel of a classic Linda Clifford jam, and displays the talents of producer Soulheil Benhadji Serradj (The Funk Father’s Band). It also shows the continued development of Ania Garvey as a top tier soul and dance vocalist.
