The Kinsman Dazz Band has established an almost-permanent spot on our Spotify playlist, as the band, led by founding member Michael J. Calhoun, continues to release one compelling song after another — from funky jams to smooth, soulful ballads.
For KDB’s last single, they’ve brought forward Cleveland-based singer Eddie B. Sands, Jr. for a classic soul love song. “Look At What You’ve Done” could have been a hit any time in the past 50 years, but it sounds particularly rich and fresh in 2026.
The song highlights Sands’ gravelly, expressive voice, reminiscent of The Dells’ Marvin Junior, which provides a delightful contrast to the song’s smooth arrangement.
