Quincy_Jones_album.jpgAccording to Billboard Magazine, legendary producer Quincy Jones has gathered an A-List of singers to re-record the seminal charity song, "We Are The World," to benefit the citizens of Haiti following last month’s earthquake. Recorded after Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, the session included such notable stars as Pink, Celine Dion, Natalie Cole, the Jonas Brothers, Kanye West, Tony Bennett, Akon and Jennifer Hudson, and was recorded at the same studio where the original version was recorded 25 years earlier, almost to the day. The original song and album raised nearly $30 million for the USA for Africa charity.

Expect the single to be released shortly.
