(March 21, 2014) Canton, Ohio – The Official R&B Music Hall of Fame is set and ready to induct the best of the best of rhythm & blues music into the 2nd annual 2014 class lead by the King of Pop Michael Jackson and the Queen of Pop Whitney Houston.
In addition to those two heavyweights, the 2nd class of the R&B Music Hall of Fame inductees also includes The Whispers, The Impressions, The Delfonics, The Dells, The Spinners, The The Funk Brothers, Chubby Checker, Marvin Gaye, The Sweet Impression, Norn N. Nite (radio personality) Russell Tompkins of The Stylistics. Last year inaugural class of 2013 was headed up by James Brown, Jackie Wilson, The Four Tops, The Temptations and The O’Jays and many more to a standing room only crowd at Cleveland State University.

Organizers are looking to build in the City of Canton, Ohio the home of The O’Jays and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The $10M state-of-the-art Official R&B Music Hall of Fame Museum project will be the first of it’s kind in the world to honor R&B, Soul & Gospel legends. The organizers of the R&B Hall along with the City of Canton, Ohio are looking for a site to build this great project. A mobile museum on wheels exhibit tours the country now.
