(June 6, 2021) With vaccination rates rising and COVID cases falling, the world seems to be getting ready to live again. And that includes the legendary vocal trio, The O’Jays.
Today, O’Jays member Eric Nolan Grant reached out to fans on his Facebook page to see if there was some love for a short group tour of arenas, perhaps with some of their musical friends. He posted:
So… Eddie Levert Sr. and myself were chattin yesterday and we were talkin bout doing a 2 to 3 month tour of all the cities that have arenas (at least 8,000 seats)…these are the 2 tours we were talkin bout…#1 Frankie Beverly & MAZE,Patti Labelle,The O’jays,S.W.V. & SILK or
#2 The Isleys,Gladys Knight,The Ojays,EnVouge & The Whispers…
What y’all think? Which line up would u come to seethis year? …and if u feel up to it..put the # & your city or state…thanks in advance..
