Marvin Winans, lead singer of the legendary Gospel group the Winans and pastor of Perfecting Church, will release his long-awaited solo album Alone But Not Alone on September 25, on sister CeCe's Pure Springs label. And to make it even better, it's produced by longtime SoulTracks favorite Tommy Sims. Advance clips of the album can be heard at Marvin's MySpace page, and they sound great. Should be a welcome return for one of the most influential Gospel artists of his generation.
