Janet Jackson to be inducted in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

(December 13, 2018) The third time is the charm. After being nominated twice before, Janet Jackson will finally get much deserved recognition as the newest member of the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it was announced this morning. She will be part of the Class of 2019 along with The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies.

The younger sister of the famous Jackson brothers, Janet arose from their shadow to become an iconic star in her own right – and the family’s biggest star aside from Michael.  Working with hit producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis over a more than a quarter century, she has scored influential hit after hit.  Her keen sense of the market along with her nifty dancing and natural beauty have made her one of the most popular artists of her generation.

We’re looking forward to the March induction of a star who is most deserving of the attention she will receive. Congratulations!
