We always love to hear about new ways for soul music fans to see their favorite artists live, and we’ve just learned of another one right in the heart of the Midwest. Cleveland is about to come alive with a new soul music series called “Extracts.” The series begins in style on Friday, August 16th, with three time SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award winner, Maysa, who will be featuring cuts from her new album, Blue Velvet Soul. The show will be at Take 5, 740 W Superior Ave. Cleveland’s own Stephen Fowler will open for Maysa before each set.
