Eddie Levert seemed to live a charmed life for a long time. As one of the most recognizable voices in music, he helped propel the O’Jays to “legendary” status. But tragedy struck not once but twice, as his two sons, Gerald and Sean – two-thirds of the singing group LeVert – both died tragically at early ages.
