Donna Summer dies at age 63

We are very sad inform SoulTrackers that that Donna Summer, the Queen of the Disco era and one of the biggest musical stars of the 70s and 80s, has died at age 63 after an extended fight with cancer.  She is survived by her husband, former Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano and their two daughters.

Donna Summer, without question, possessed the most versatile voice in popular music. Her forays into rock, disco, R&B, country, jazz, Broadway, and gospel are unparalleled in their quality and breadth.
