(February 26, 2018) It’s tough to believe that it has been nearly ten years since Alexandra Burke was named the winner of television’s X Factor competition, but the talented UK songstress is now a seasoned veteran, still delivering music around the world, albeit a bit more slowly than she did in the years immediately after her victory — particularly here in the States.
We haven’t heard new music from her in a few years, but we’re still fans of her work and are glad that she has just released a new single. “Shadow” is a beat-heavy midtempo with a solid hook and and a strong vocal performance up front by Burke. It is the first single from her upcoming album Truth Is.
