We first introduced SoulTracker to singer and songwriter Curtis Clark, aka Homemadesoul, five years ago, and we’ve been smitten with his music ever since. In our review of his 2013 album Random Thoughts, our Howard Dukes called him a singer of “authenticity and strong vocals.” But it has been three years since we heard new music from this talented artist.
Not being one to abide by conventional marketing processes, Homemadesoul has decided to once again shoot from the hip and share with the world what he believes is quality music. A chance encounter with little known prolific songwriter, Natasha Jeter, at WSAATL Songwriters conference in Oct 2015, led to the two becoming writing partners. The collaboration has already garnered placements in television and independent films. Soul music at its best is music from the soul. With his new single, “Everything”, Homemadesoul once again bares his soul.
“Everything” is possibly the first song from an impromptu project derived from the ongoing collaboration between Homemadesoul and Natasha Jeter. Influenced by D’Angelo and Eric Benet, Homemadesoul expresses a true love for someone with a deep connection to his soul.
