For those craving some new sizzling smooth jazz and soulful romantic R & B ballads, Paul Taylor’s latest release, Ladies’ Choice, is a ticket worth the price. One of today’s most acclaimed saxophonists, Paul Taylor scores again with a series of original grooves, striking melodies and memorable collaborations with acclaimed female vocalists – Regina Belle, La Toya London, Lauren Evans, and Terry Dexter. Ladies’ Choice is soothing, romantic, and possesses a sound vibe that will satisfy music lovers who are seeking solid urban adult contemporary music.

From start to finish, this 11 track set takes you on an enjoyable musical ride that you wish would not end. Each instrumental track has an old school yet modern flare thanks to Taylor’s powerful musicianship and the fine production from veterans Barry Eastmond and Rex Rideout. The highlights from Ladies’ Choice are the guest female vocalists who accompany Taylor on several sultry ballads. On "I Want To Be Loved By You," La Toya London’s emotional vocals and Taylor’s strong alto makes for dreamy quiet storm ballad. Regina Belle delivers sassy, brisk vocals on "How Did You Know" and "Open Your Eyes" which features a hot vocal/sax chemistry. The remake of The Average White Band’s "A Love Of Your Own" delivers a vintage soul flavored cover thanks to vocalist Lauren Evans.

Ladies’ Choice is a bonus to add to your musical collection. Paul Taylor’s soulful instrumental tracks and collaborations make Ladies Choice definitely the listeners’ choice. Highly recommended
