Earth Wind & Fire, Beyoncé, Diana Ross, among Nominees for R&B Hall of Fame Class of 2026

(February 26, 2026) Detroit, Michigan — The National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame, founded in 2010, proudly announces the 30 official nominees for induction into the Class of 2026, celebrating some of the most influential artists, industry pioneers, venues, and cultural contributors who have shaped the sound and legacy of rhythm and blues music across generations.

This milestone announcement comes as the organization prepares for its 15th Annual National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026, with the host city to be announced. The ceremony is currently under consideration for Detroit, Michigan; Jackson, Mississippi; and New Orleans, Louisiana—three cities deeply connected to the evolution and global impact of R&B music.

Since launching its inaugural inductions in 2013, the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame has honored more than 300 legendary artists, producers, songwriters, record labels, venues, and institutions, preserving and celebrating the cultural heartbeat of Rhythm & Blues while educating and inspiring future generations.

The Official Class of 2026 inductees will be unveiled during a live press conference on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
