(December 3, 2025) Acclaimed US soul-jazz artist Jarrod Lawson has extended his worldwide deal with Dome Records, now owned by Cherry Red Records, ahead of his third studio album due in early 2026, which will be followed by a world tour.
Lawson, praised for his rich soul-jazz blend and signature harmonies, has earned international acclaim since his 2014 debut and 2020’s Be The Change, which topped Amazon’s Jazz chart and hit #2 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. Recent releases, including Footsteps in the Dark and Next Move with Raquel Rodriguez, have kept him at the forefront of modern soul. He also received a high-profile shout-out from Michelle Obama.
Known for powerful, socially conscious songwriting and standout live performances -from London’s Ronnie Scott’s to the North Sea Jazz Festival, alongside US festivals such as Atlanta Jazz Fest and Rochester Jazz Fest – Lawson has built a global following and earned Jazz FM’s Soul Artist of the Year award. Dome founder Peter Robinson says his US audience continues to grow and calls the new material “very exciting.”
Lawson’s upcoming album, with worldwide digital distribution by Virgin Music Group, sees a fresh evolution of his soulful, jazz-infused sound, with guest collaborations. More release and tour details to come.
