(April 15, 2025) Summer is the season for concerts, and this morning legendary singer Charlie Wilson announced a tour for this summer that will be difficult to beat. Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout will land in 21 U.S. cities with an all-star lineup that will have soul music fans salivating.
On the tour, Wilson will be accompanied by singer/songwriter/producer Babyface, tenor supreme El DeBarge, and former Jodeci and K-Ci and Jojo singer K-Ci Hailey. The 21 stop tour will begin on August 27 in Los Angeles and will continue for over 6 weeks, ending on October 12 in Memphis.
This unique teaming of R&B royalty will combine the most successful Urban Adult Contemporary singer ever with one of the greatest R&B songwriters ever and one of the most iconic upper register singer ever. We’ll be lining up for this one and we know SoulTrackers will too.
