Jeffrey Osborne, Kenny Lattimore head 2024 R&B Hall of Fame class

Detroit, MI- August 16, 2024 – The National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame proudly announces its all-star class of inductees for the 2024 ceremony, including celebrated artists Jeffrey Osbone, Kenny Lattimore, Candi Staton, Ginuwine, Regina Belle, Rose Marie McCoy, Buddy Miles, Terry Stewart, William Bell, Ken Hawkins, and the influential Boddie Recording Company. Additionally, special honors will be bestowed upon the iconic Leo’s Casino alumni, including Aretha Franklin, Gene Chandler, Chuck Conway, Sr., Martha Reeves, Fred Wheatt, Freddie Arrington, The Temptations, and The O’Jays.

These distinguished individuals and groups will be officially inducted as R&B royalty at the 13th Annual National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 6, 2024. The prestigious event will take place at the Marriott Cleveland East, located at 26300 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

“This year’s remarkable group of inductees exemplifies the rich diversity and influence of R&B music,” said LaMont Robinson, founder of the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Foundation. “We are excited to return the ceremony to Metro Cleveland and celebrate the enduring legacy of Leo’s Casino, a vital part of the city’s music history from the 1960s.”

The National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Foundation is currently in discussions with cable networks and streaming platforms to broadcast this year’s ceremony nationally, expanding access to R&B fans across the country.

The Foundation’s mission is to construct a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to honoring the over 300 R&B artists inducted since its inception in 2013. This esteemed roster includes legends such as James Brown, Prince, B.B. King, New Edition, The O’Jays, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Wilson, and Whitney Houston.
