Earth Wind & Fire is one of the most beloved bands of the last half century, and certainly the group’s 1978 hit “September” is one of the signature songs of the era.
EWF fans have sampled, remixed and sliced and diced the group’s hits over the years, and we found a rare mix that pulls out the musical track to turn “September” into an a capella delight. Just hearing Philip Bailey’s falsetto harmonies isolated gives us a chill.
