New Jersey native Regina Belle has established an enviable three decade career on the strength of her beautifully sensuous, deep voice and a collection of hit songs in the Soul, Jazz and, more recently, Gospel genres.
She recorded great songs, but one sticks out to us as among the best ballads of the late 80s. Carvin Winans of the Winans wrote it, and Regina sang her heart out. Take a listen again to “Make It Like It Was.”
