(March 7, 2020) There have not been many violinists who have successfully moved from classical to jazz to success in the soul music world, though a few such a Noel Pointer come to mind. One of the newest to successfully bridge those often large divides is former Tru Vibe member, violinist and singer Monique Brooks-Roberts.
We featured Monique’s single, “Night Life,” last year, and SoulTrackers responded. She now has a new album that is making waves, and the song “Cherish The Day” – a Sade cover – is connecting with listeners of many genres.
