We admit it. We’re unabashed Lianne La Havas fans here at SoulTracks. It’s hard to be unbiased in the face of such remarkable talent.
Everything this young artist does lately just shimmers, including most notably her appearance last week in NPR’s “Tiny Desk” concert series. Crammed in a small space with just a pianist and back up vocalist, La Havas gracefully delivers three tracks, all of which are arguably better stripped down in this fashion than the originals on record. Enjoy.
