(October 10, 2025) A few weeks ago, we celebrated Christian McBride’s hot new album, Without Further Ado, Vol. 1, where he teams with several great vocalists – and we especially focused on his collab with Jeffrey Osborne on the LTD classic “Back in Love Again”
And this week McBride and Osborne appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform the song live for the nation to see. And they rocked it.
McBride reflected, “Jeffrey Osborne seems like he never ages. He still sounds like he sounded when he first recorded this soul classic with L.T.D. in 1977. Jeffrey and I were first connected through the late, great George Duke on a Duke Ellington tribute album back in 2000, but I first saw him in 1979 at The Spectrum in Philly when L.T.D. opened for The Jacksons. What great memories! It’s a stone gas to revisit this classic with the man himself.”
