October 25, 2020 — We’ve followed the rise of the superb artist H.E.R. from the beginning, and we would be remiss if we did not celebrate from our rooftop her recent live performance on Saturday Night Live as the featured musical guest. There are few other peaks to climb once you’ve landed on SNL!
We feature here her performance of the song “Hold On,” in which she shows what makes her special: rich and smooth vocals, depth of feeling, and gifted, liquid guitar playing (on her own “signature” Fender model Stratocaster). Enjoy.
