(October 4, 2021) Detroit is known for producing cars and vocalists, musicians and songwriters. Singer Jynn Cole is a continuance of the kind of talent that has been rolling of the Motor City’s musical assembly line for years.
Cole has forged her talents by working in multiple capacities in Detroit and around the world. She’s backed vocalists such as Karen Clark Sheard and Angela Winbush. Cole has worked as an actress on the stage in gospel musical plays and sang in the choir during Kanye West’s Sunday Service in Detroit. She is an in-demand singer at weddings and other events around Detroit and fronts the band called One Man Out that performs at Motor City venues like the MGM Casino.
So, Cole is more than ready for her closeup. She’s working on her debut EP and has released one track – the tasty “Honey Fall.” Cole flat out cooks on this track that finds her lavishing praise on a lover who quenches her appetite.
“Honey Fall” is the kind of track that folks say R&B can no longer produce. The track is a sensual mid-tempo number that finds Cole uses metaphor, allusion and the painting of verbal pictures to full effect. With “Honey Fall,” Cole proves that she is an artist who knows what to reveal and what to conceal. Check out Jynn Cole’s “Honey Fall” here.
