Featuring the immediacy of a live band performance and call-and-response vocals, “Vacation” gives the feel of a sweaty summer night where audiences are swaying, captivated by the performance in front of them. And that kind of spirit-driven reaction is just what Dyasi was going for. She says, “’Vacation’ is about letting go and allowing yourself space to feel good again. It’s soulful, but it also feels free.”
