On this warm slice of smooth soul, Downing incorporates Afro-Beat rhythms with jazzy R&B grooves, providing the foundation for his trademark silky baritone. The message is simple – Will convinces his lover that while she’s had the rest, he is indeed the best and can give her what she needs. All the lady love has to do is let the man do the work while he admires her from head to toe, with heart and soul.
As a longtime fan of Will’s music, both originals and remakes, the Brooklyn NY native hardly disappoints, and “Love On You” is further proof. Looking forward to the springtime and even summer, with Mr. Downing providing the soundtrack for lovers everywhere.
