Mr. Downing is readying a new album, Pieces, for February 2023 release, but he is giving SoulTrackers an early taste – and quite tasty it is. “Kinda Guy” is about a man who is promising his woman that he is and will be the type of guy who appreciates her and is ready to deliver what she wants.
The midtempo number has the kind of smooth vibe that has been the foundation of many of Will’s hits over the years, and it is certainly a song that should deliver well in his now-famous concerts.
