(September 16, 2021) UK musician/producer Karum Cooper – who goes by the name of Webmoms – has an uncanny ability to arrange sounds and weave genres together. That talent has allowed him to recently gain major buzz across the pond. And with his latest single, “Waiting,” Webmoms is looking to continue the momentum of his debut EP and build his brand and base.

After dropping the EP Ruchikar last year, Webmoms earned high praise from entities such as Complex UK and Stamp The Mix. On the heels of that success comes “Waiting,” a midtempo groove that leans into 90s era hip-hop & soul. It’s a collaboration with fellow UK artist Maddy, whose lead vocals complement Webmoms’ rap that comes midway through the track. While their communication varies, their content and points are the same: both talk through the challenges of a relationship that neither person has really defined. Messages are crossed and intentions are unknown, and the result is a state of not being sure of where each person stands. The lyrics are relatable to anyone who has been in a relationship, and Webmoms and Maddy effectively deliver their messages over a track that is equally smooth and layered.

Check out “Waiting” and dive into Webmoms’ latest single, while we wait patiently for his sophomore full length project.
