(May 29, 2020) SoulTrackers who have been with us since the early days know that we’ve been big fans of Soulful House group Tortured Soul since the jump. And group leader John-Christian Urich and company have consistently delivered music that got us moving while also being sweet to our ears.
The group has changed lineups over the years, but the quality of releases hasn’t changed. And that is certainly the case with the new single, featuring vocalist Lisa Shaw. “I Wish You Were Here” is out in multiple mixes, with each having its own appeal. But for our latest First Listen, we’re into the radio version, which is hitting the spot for us on a Spring weekend.
