(June 28, 2017) What happens when you combine one of the biggest acts from the 90s with a classic song from the 60s and a classic EWF sound from the 70s? Well, the answer is “It’s Sunny,” the brand new Summer sounding song from TLC, taken from their much-anticipated, self-titled new album (which will be released on June 30th).
‘It’s Sunny’ is a jubilant mix of R&B, soul, and uplifting house, playfully folding in elements of the Bobby Hebb and Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” into a summer-ready anthem. It’s also an appropriate celebration for a band whose “dark days are gone…and bright days are here” once again.
