First Listen: Tim Bowman marvels at the “City Lights”

(March 13, 2017) The Motor City is a perfect place for an aspiring musician to cultivate a sound different from any other. From his early days playing the guitar in church to formal training as a young adult, Tim Bowman pulled from a multitude of influences and created a sound that infuses gospel, blues, R&B and jazz. He has been a hit internationally in all those areas, and now he’s back for more.

Tim is readying his highly anticipated new album, and he gives us a sneak peek with the first single, “City Lights.” Tim tells us, “My home town is Detroit, Michigan, and it’s making a strong comeback. This song ‘City Lights’ reminds me of downtown Detroit. New stores, restaurants, and high risers! City lights City life.”

Take a listen to this smooth gem from Tim. It is our newest SoulTracks First Listen.
