SoulTrackers know what big fans we are of singer and songwriter Teri Tobin, whose ballad “You Are” we recently featured as our Song of the Month for April.
Now, in time for Mother’s Day, Teri has released a beautiful song that is a tribute to her material grandmother, Essie Hinton. It is a song honoring the characteristics that so many ancestors bring: emotional support, self-sacrifice, and unconditional love.
I almost gave up but you wouldn’t let me
you held my hand and never let go
how can I repay you
for what you’ve done for me
I just say thank you (but)
There are not enough words I can say to thank you
It’s a wonderful song that comes at the right time for this important holiday. Check out “Thank You Enough” and then thank the mother or friend in your life who has been there for you.
