(November 10, 2025) We have been covering uber-talented singer and songwriter Teri Tobin for well over a decade, but one thing we haven’t done is write about holiday music from her. Happily, that ends now with the release of “Home For the Holidays,” the smile-inducing first single from her upcoming EP of the same name.
Working with multi-instrumentalist Myron Davis (Dru Hill), Tobin delivers a fun, upbeat number about letting “my people know I’ll be there” for the holidays. The song reminds listeners of the joy of anticipation that comes with the Christmas season – especially anticipation of being with the ones we love whom we don’t see often enough.
The loose call-and-response of Tobin and the background singers adds to the overall message of being around lots of family and friends at the holidays. And, of course, Tobin’s vocal performance is right on time as always.
