We reported a couple months ago that Grammy nominated singer and co-star of TV One’s R&B Divas, Syleena Johnson, and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Musiq Soulchild were teaming on a new duet album, 9ine, to be released this Summer, followed by a duet tour. To be produced by roots/reggae producer Kemar “Flava” McGregor, 9ine will feature three new songs by Syleena, three new songs by Musiq and three new duets.
One of the duets was just issued, and it sounds great. With an island beat and great vocal interplay, “Feel the Fire” gives a good sense of what we can expect from these two artists joining together.
