Sydney Ranee’ is a versatile artist with a powerhouse voice. The LA native worked with Josh Groban as a high schooler and then went on to get her degree in music at Cornish College of the Arts. Since then she’s toured the world singing and she has just released her debut EP, Born To Run.
We’re digging what we’re hearing from this talented young singer and songwriter, and we think SoulTrackers will too. So we’re featuring the title cut from the EP as our newest SoulTracks First Listen. It’s an emotional ballad about a difficult period in a relationship. Sydney tells us about the song: “’Born To Run’ is about a relationship that started young but time and distance got in the way. It’s finding a way through any complication to find what you love.”
