(September 6, 2017) West Virginia-bred singer Steve (Jai) Johnson has been singing professionally for many years in and around his home state, but he is expanding to an international audience with the release of Take It From Me” a 5 song EP on Play/Oracle Records, arranged, produced, mixed and mastered by Giampaolo Pasquile and Michele Garruti.
Steve leads off the album with the ballad “Take It From Me,” a sparsely arranged number that shows his vocal range and includes a relatable message. Steve tells us, “’Take It From Me’ is a song on which I collaborated with Raymond Byabazaire and Raymond Fry. The song is about a man letting his woman know that no matter where life may take her in her pursuit of true love he will always be there for her and she can always count on him.”
