First Listen: SOULUSION and Natalie May “Pull Us In”

(March 20, 2024) Music can be magnetic. When you find yourself attracted to a beautiful song, you like its energy and how it makes you feel.  The song pulls you in. Love (or strong like) can be the same way. When you find yourself attracted to a beautiful soul, you enjoy the person’s energy and how you’re made to feel.  This special someone pulls you in.

That magnetic connection between two hearts is expressed in a new song called “Pull Me In” presented by SOULUSION, a guest artist feature group with connections to both Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the UK.

The featured vocalist on this track is Natalie May, a singer/songwriter based in London, who has worked with artists like Liv Warfield, Teedra Moses and Robert Glasper.  Natalie May’s influences range from Nat “King” Cole to Mariah Carey, and she brings a natural neo-soul vibe to this collaboration with SOULUSION.  Her voice can remind you of Corrine Bailey Rae; it’s smooth and soft, almost like a whisper, floating through the song as she sings to the man who’s pulling on her heartstrings.

“Pull Me In” – which is the second installment from SOULUSION – can fit right in with a neo-soul playlist alongside the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, and Kindred the Family Soul.

Clocking in at about 2 minutes and 30 seconds, “Pull Me In” pulls you in and leaves you wanting more.  Check out the song below and welcome these artists to SoulTracks!
