Smoove and Turrell is a UK duo that has been getting some buzz over the past year or so. Consisting of Jonathan Scott Watson (known as Smoove) and John Turrell, the duo combines elements of classic R&B and Funk to give a fresh new sound that has been labeled “UK Northern Funk.”
They have supported Nile Rodgers and Chic and Martha and the Vandellas over the Summer festival season and put in an guest appearance at Space in Ibiza to promote their sound. Many cult Dj’s are getting behind this band & forecast big things for the duo’s new album, which was recently released.
