(May 3, 2021) Atlanta-based singer Skyler Reed was classically trained, and her love of a diverse palette of styles comes through loud and clear in her three studio projects.
Skyler’s newest, “Are We There Yet,” blends elements of soul, jazz and classic pop into a song that resonates from the opening note. There is so much going on musically in the simple, piano led song, that it takes close listening to fully grasp all of the beauty of the arrangement and the strong vocal performance.
She tells us, “I found my sound while working on this project. I was more involved in the production of the music, and I learned so much from collaborating with talented musicians. This music is something I am really proud of, and I dug deeper than I ever have to create something I hope inspires the world.”
