(January 17, 2018) Trombonist/keyboardist/percussionist/composer Chad “Sir Wick” Hughes attracted our attention a few years ago with his group Odyssey. But the Bowling Green State University graduate has been a favorite with a number of SoulTrackers for his compositional skills and his ability to meld soul and jazz into a tasty confection.
For his newest project, Sir Wick takes us on a musical journey of musical styles with A Tale of Two Fools, the soundtrack to the novel and musical of the same name. One of the great songs on this project features Detroit-born singer, and Broadway star, Angela Birchett on a number that definitely got our feet moving.
