(August 27, 2021) We know Florida-based singer, songwriter and actress Sheena O. Murray for a series of stylish ballads, usually accompanied by dramatic videos that demonstrate her artistic sense. But on her new single, Sheena moves into lighter territory and creates perhaps her most accessible single in the process. We premiered the single a few weeks ago and SoulTrackers loved it. And now, Sheena has released the accompanying video.
The Kingston, Jamaica-born Murray delivers a cool 90s-style groove on “Sending My Love,” a number that could have been in the canon of classic Mariah Carey. And the singer shows off her pipes nicely, deftly handing the catchy number about a woman who is missing her lover more each day. Sheena tells us about the song: “Missing someone can feel awful, but love in itself is so beautiful and giving it willingly and freely is exciting. I want people to get up and dance and feel free and youthful.”
