(May 17, 2025) When the weather starts to break in May, we all begin to think about Summer, and also begin to look for that handful of cuts that will be our “songs of the Summer.” Well, Charlotte, North Carolina singer and songwriter ShanDaria has come out of the box with an early candidate in the form of her fresh and fun new single, “Livin.”
ShanDaria tells us, “This song is my personal mantra. ‘Livin’ is for anyone who’s ever needed a reminder that life is still full of beauty, no matter what you’ve been through. It’s about rediscovering joy, walking in purpose, and not being afraid to start over.”
Though the cut weighs in at just under 2:30, it hits its mark quickly, with a steady beat that pops from the speakers, giving the immediate feeling of a top-down, cruising jam. And ShanDaria youthful exuberance is just right for the joyful song.
