(November 15, 2017) If Selina Albright sounds like a natural, well, maybe it is in the genes. Her father is legendary jazzman and longtime SoulTracks fave, Gerald Albright. But unlike her father, who does his thing on the saxophone, Selina makes her mark with her beautiful and versatile voice.
Skirting the line between soul and jazz, Selina has made a mark over the past few years both in the US and Europe. And now she is touring with veteran jazzman Dave Koz while releasing her sophomore album, Conversations.
Selina has just issued a new finger-popping single about the kind of love that we all seek: an unconditional one that is about substance and not just the stuff on the surface. It’s a cool number and she sounds great on it.
