(September 1, 2022) Last year SoulTrackers had the privilege of getting to know musician, songwriter and producer Samuel Archer. And they simply fell in love with his project Soul Music Vineyard, an ambitious Quincy Jones-type project that paired Archer with a number of talented vocalists and created one of the year’s most enjoyable albums.
Archer is now back with a new single from the project featuring vocalist Jamia. “When I’m With You” is a sweet ballad on which the singer expresses the mysterious attraction to her boo, and how it has changed her outlook. It is a plea to freeze those feelings in time, and the vocalist’s emotion is palpable.
