(December 2, 2025) Roi “Chip” Anthony is about uplift, both communal and individual. The Lafayette, Lousiana native is a singer, songwriter and producer who released a three-part video project called “The Feel Good Series,” with the purpose of making and releasing uplifting, message filled music.
Anthony’s latest song finds him sticking to the theme of accentuating the positive. The song featured in this First Listen is Southern Soul infused self-affirming tune called “I Love Myself.” Anthony has this to say about the tune:
“This song is about reclaiming your joy. We live in a time where self-love is survival, and I wanted to create something that makes people feel good about who they are no apologies.”
“I Love Myself” is the lead single from Anthony’s upcoming album Soul, which will be released later this fall. The song is an energetic, ten toes down statement of unapologetic self-love. Check it out here.
